Client: The Joffrey Ballet is a world-class Chicago-based ballet company and dance education organization that is committed to artistic excellence and innovation, and presents a unique repertoire that encompasses classical ballets and cutting-edge modern works.
Client challenge: Create a 260-page book in honor of the Joffrey Artistic Director Ashley Wheater’s 10-year anniversary. The book needed to reflect Joffrey’s inclusive perspective on dance as well as the diversity of its company, audiences, and repertoire.
Our approach: Streamlined, contemporary graphics provided narrative continuity and directed focus to images of dancers, performances, and choreography.
