Client: Museums in the Park (MIP) is a coalition of Chicago’s world-class museums, partnering with city and state agencies to champion the cultural, educational, and economic value of museums in public parks. For over 160 years, MIP institutions have inspired generations through art, science, history, and nature.

Client challenge: Design a logo and brand identity system that reflects the natural surroundings of the park systems and cultural institutions that are a crucial component of Chicago’s economy.

Our approach: Develop a logo that combines classical architecture with natural elements, using a stylized column "M" for “Museums” and a rich green palette to reflect both culture and nature. The use of vertical typography and a bold font creates a strong, balanced composition that’s instantly readable and suggests credibility, strength, and timelessness.
